| Description of the problem | 2007 e-350 mercedes benz sedan 40,000 miles; had two brake failures: popping sound from brakes as if calipers stuck and released; brake pedal goes to floor. Little if any braking power; brakes generate excessive heat but then recover to normal. On both incidences (8/31 and 8/21) mechanic could not replicate despite multiple test drives (in shop 5 days) car now again garaged. Afraid to drive. Mb not responsive. |
